  • Thank you very much for allowing me the opportunity to present Zmag’s Solution to your organization. The way the presentation is structured is that I’m first going to talk a little bit about Zmag’s background, and then the types of challenges we help our customers overcome, and finally, we’ll dig into the zMags Solution itself and share with you some of the success we have had in helping our clients engage readers and improve business results on a daily basis.   This typically takes 30-45 minutes to complete. Typically you will have questions for me, and I will do my best to answer those for you. Obviously, I am going to have questions for you so I can better understand your business. Are you comfortable answering my questions? At the end I will ask you if Zmags is a fit for your business goals. If you don’t see us as a fit, are you comfortable telling me NO? Thank you. If we’re in agreement that the Zmags solution looks to be a good fit, I will walk you though the typical steps of evaluation we go through with clients and schedule the appropriate next steps. Are you comfortable with this? Great. Lets get started.
  • So the answer today for these challenges is what industry experts call Interactive Collateral Management, or ICM. ICM is a SaaS based solution designed to help companies: READ EACH BULLET POINT. Discovery questions: As you can see there are many types of collateral from brochures to catalogs to newsletters. In addition to (insert what their primary format is), can you see your company benefiting from transforming other types of collateral via ICM? Do those fall under your responsibility? If no, who would own those in your company?
  • So we have talked a lot about the value we deliver for our clients, but I am sure you agree there is no substitute for hard facts to prove a point. As you can see, Zmags clients enjoy measurable benefits from our service. GO SILENT FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS (THE LONGER THE BETTER) AND LET THEM READ THE BULLET POINTS ON THEIR OWN. THEN TRANSITION TO THE NEXT SLIDE.

  • Data Matters, Not Devices
  • Technical Considerations for Delivery of Content to Mobile Devices
    • Screens are small and screen real-estate is precious
    • Multiple different screen sizes appear every month
    • Touch navigation differs from navigation via mouse and keyboard
    • Bandwidth varies across 3G and GPRS networks
    • Two App Stores with roughly 50% market share each
    • Two major operating systems with 3 major versions each
    • Device speed and touch accuracy vary a lot
    • Browser capabilities vary even though they are powered by the same engine
  • Custom Aps vs. Browser-Based Applications
    • Advantages of Browser-Based Applications:
    • Lower entry barrier: custom apps require a separate application for each device and version
    • Instantly accessible and run almost as smoothly as custom apps
    • Provide the same touch and ‘look and feel’ capabilities
    • No need for app store: app stores have approval delays - typically a week
    • Advantages of Custom ‘Apps’:
    • Slightly faster on Android OS – but that will change
    • Stickier – but require a download effort
  • HTML 5 Overview
    • Smartphones and tablets from Apple and Android are HTML5 ready
    • New features available to browser-based apps
      • Touch
      • Animations
      • Video
      • Audio
      • Offline
