  • 2. + How wind energy works Wind energy is used around the world. It started a long time ago. Wind is used to make electricity. You must have seen out side on farms or other places there are wind mills. They generate electricity. The wind pushes the wind mills blades and that turns a turbine in side a little generator, which produces electricity.
  • 3. + Advantage and Disadvantage! Advantage Disadvantage  Wind mills do not take up much  In some of the areas the wind is space. low so, the wind mills won’t be efficient there.  Wind mills are much friendlier to the environment than Fossil  Wind energy doesn’t generate fuels were you burn the stuff. that much electricity instead, Fossil fuels generates load more of electricity.
