  • 19.  Month of Ramadhan was chosen by Allah for Muslims to observe the daily fasting – the whole month.  Exceptions are those who are sick, on a journey, the insane, infants etc.  For every fast missed, it is to be re-paid by fasting in other months – or if unable, then to feed the poor or indigent as ransom (FID-YAH).
