IIMAN Belief Faith Conviction ‘AMAL [Islam] Submission Obedience Practice IHSAN Best or Righteous Conduct Faith without obedience is meaningless; and obedience without Faith is mere rituals and may even lead to hypocrisy. Together, Faith and Obedience must lead to Righteousness with IHSAN which essentially focus in our intention to sincerely serve Allah s.w.t.   29. 29. Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure? Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]?   31. 31. “And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant.   37. 37. “Hence, (ANEE-BU) turn towards your Sustainer [alone] and (AS-LIMUU) surrender yourselves unto Him ere the suffering [of death and resurrection] comes upon you , for then you will not be succoured.   39. 39. “O you who have attained to faith! (TUU-BUU – ILALAAH) Turn unto Allah in (TAU-BATAN NA-SwUU-HA) sincere repentance: it may well be that your Sustainer will efface from you your bad deeds, and will admit you into gardens through which running waters flow, on a Day on which Allah will not shame the Prophet and those who share his faith: … ” (Qur’an: Tahrim: 66: 8) All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2014)
  40. 40. “…. their light will spread rapidly before them, and on their right; [and] they will pray: "O our Sustainer!   42. 42. “Verily, Allah's acceptance of repentance relates only to those who do evil out of ignorance and then repent before their time runs out: and it is they unto whom Allah will turn again in His mercy - for Allah is allknowing, wise; whereas repentance shall not be accepted from those who do evil deeds until their dying hour and then say, "Behold, I now repent"; nor from those who die as deniers of the truth: it is these for whom We have readied grievous suffering.” (Qur’an: An-Nisa’: 4: 17-18) All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2014)

  45. 45. “O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed.   51. 51. "O our Sustainer! Behold, we heard a voice call [us] unto faith, `Believe in your Sustainer!' - and so we came to believe. O our Sustainer!   54. 54. “O my Sustainer (Lord)! ! Inspire me so that I may forever be grateful for those blessings of Thine with which Thou hast graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right [in a manner] that will please Thee; and include me, by Thy grace, among Thy righteous servants!” All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2014) ( Qur’an: Naml: 27: 19) 54

Inspire me so that I may forever be grateful for those blessings of Thine with which Thou hast graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right [in a manner] that will meet with Thy goodly acceptance; and grant me righteousness in my offspring [as well]. Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will) and of our progeny a people Muslim bowing to Thy (Will) and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning Most-Merciful. Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, And grant us forgiveness, Have Mercy on us.
