    Onetime Setup Steps:
    1 Install Library Server
    2 Add device drivers (see note)
    3 Create a boot CD
    4 Install SanXfer Clients
    Windows Server (platform A)
    with local boot disk
    IP Network
    Boot Disk Migration Example:
    1 Boot the CD
    2 Select Migrate from the Menu
    <SanXfer relocates the boot disk to the SAN>
    <SanXfer automatically updates the necessary device drivers and reconfigures the system>
    3 Reboot
    Windows Server (platform B)
    with no local disks
    SAN
    Server Replacement Example:
    1 Change the Server Hardware
    2 Boot the CD
    3 Select Reconfigure from the Menu
    <SanXfer automatically updates the necessary device drivers and reconfigures the system>
    4 Reboot.
    NOTE: If a device driver for a new device is already built-in to Windows, it is not necessary to add it to the Library Server.
