FUNCTIONS OF CIRCULATORY SYSTEM • Transport oxygen from lungs to cells around the body and carbondioxide from cells to lungs • Transport nutrients like glucose • Transport waste from cells to organs that eliminate them • Contains cell that fight infection and defend against foreign bodies • Maintains ph level and ionic concentration of fluids in the body • Helps to maintain body temperature
  • 14. DISEASE CONDITION • Disorders of the valve • Ischaemic heart disease - Angina pectoris , myocardial infarction • Cardiac arrhythmias – asystole, fibrillation, heart block
