  •    It is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field combines design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to improve patient health care Covers bioinformatics, medical imaging, bio engineering , 3D modeling , bio compatible prosthesis, medical devices, diagnostic devices MRI,EEG etc
  •     Bioengineering – research with aid of mathematical model and simulation. Medical engineering – study , design and construction of instrumentation, sensors, prosthetics Clinical or hospital engineering- certification and testing of medical equipments and hospital activities( design, adequacy and execution of installations, training of maintenance) Rehabilitation engineering- development of electronic and mechanical systems for improvement of quality of life of physically challenged people .
