  • zarkadakis George Zarkadakis, Country (UK) Director at Xplain Ltd. Thanks everyone for your comments! I am not another prophet of the demise of printed books, or the desire of people to buy - or have their ideas on - printed paper. In fact, my bets are on printed books surviving long after all the prophets of book apocalypse have passed away! My presentation addresses the business side of books, and more specifically book publishers. • irinadunn3 Irina Dunn, Managing Director at Runs own company You're quite right George, in this very clever clip, but why do all my clients still dream of seeing themselves published between the covers of a book. All good wishes to you for the New Year! • grintoul Guy Rintoul, Systems Manager at Procter & Gamble I wouldn't go quite so far as your melodramatic 'publishing is crumbling' – but then again, music labels didn't realise (or face up to) CD sales crumbling and didn't try to adjust their business models until it was too late. I like the central contention that publishers effectively create content and 'content' is king in digital – rings very true. 5 months ago
