is being grieve by human rebellion

Therefore, the Holy Spirit, like the Father and the Son with whom he is coequal, is personal and spiritual. Though distinct from the Father and the Son, he exists together with them in an indivisible unity of the Godhead: one not only in purpose but in essence.

2. WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT’S FUNCTION? The Holy Spirit is Creator and Redeemer , together with the Father and the Son. But he is also given special role in the project of redemption. As the Father elects, and the Son redeems, the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and unites us to Christ.

3. WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE COMING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT? “ It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send to you” John 16:7
