  • • Why should your audience listen to you? Explain your ethos (credibility). My audience should listen to me because I have extreme passion of music, and has helped overcome my learning disability and exceeded academically.
  • Call to Adventure: Children can live a more fulfilling life by bringing back music programs, and use that as their prerequisite for their curriculum.
  • ¥ Preview the three main points that will support your big idea:
  • Bringing back Music Programs 1) Promote a non-profit concert in your city that needs a music program; 2) Develop a fundraiser everywhere for helping buy instruments for kids; and 3) Help other cities and towns that needs Music Programs.
  • Supporting Point One: Promote a concert in your city that needs a music program • Having a community chorus, or band concert can promote buzz about the huge impact of music to their ears.

  • Supporting Point Two: Develop a fundraiser everywhere to help buy instruments for kids. ¥ Reusing the big idea by including the benefits of adding music to their programs so that donors will attract.
  • Supporting Point Three: Helping other cities and towns that need Music Programs. • Networking through fundraiser websites like kickstarter.com would help raise funds for certain cities with poor economy.
  • Call to Action: Find a city that either you know, or through research that needs a music program in their schools, and connect their school board to an online fundraiser.
