  • Chapter 28 and Chapter 29
    • Plot (At the point of the story)
    • The main characters are panicking about them crushing into the rainbow . (Chpt 28)
    • Centipede became stiff by the rainbow-paint. (Chpt 29)
  • Characters
    • 2 main characters;
    • JAMES :
    • It is because the writer keeps talking about what James’ thinking. He also tells a lot about his information and knows how James felt at that time.
    • AUNT SPONGE: It is because he keep talking about her attitude, tell where she lives and tells every details she looks like.
  • Theme
    • Chapt 28 :
    • Earthworm lost sense of location “if the peach is leaking then we surely sink”
    • Centipede is very afraid “centipede, going white in the face”
    • Cloudman is actually painting “they were splashing the paint on to the great curvy arch in a frenzy of speed”
    • The cloud men’s rainbow are beautiful “Oh, isn’t it beautiful”
    • They could not control where the peach goes “heading directly towards th rainbow, travelling rather fast.”
    • The peach destroyed the rainbow ‘the enormous rainbow snapped right across the middle and became 2 separate pieced.”
    • Cloud man is really furious “Pelting them mercilessly with all sorts of hard and horrible objects.”

    • Chpt 29 :
    • Grasshopper could not believe that the paint could dry so fast “ but how could it possibly have dried so quickly?”
