INTRODUCTION Hi every one.this is rajnikanth from warangal district of telangana region of andhra pradesh state of india I had a experience of 4 years in oyster mushroom cultivation.
ABOUT ME I completed my graduation with biotechnology ,microbiology and chemistry as optionals Presently pursuing MBA (marketing). In 2008,i started msuhroom cultivation as a part of biotech project.
MY EXPERIENCES I undergone training in hyderabad in 2008. I visited farms innellore,chennai,coimbatore,allepey,kottayam,bangalore. In 2010,i had been to solan(himachal pradesh) and recievedtraining in spawn making. I work for some ngos and give training to WOMEN SHG groups.
FAILURES OF INDUSTRY Mushroom industry suffers from some problems. Lack of confidential information to new entrants. Irregular supply of seed material(spawn). Lack of government support. Few people exploit the people by conducting theoritical trainingand decieves by false buy back agreements.
MY OWN COMPANY I started mushroom company on the name of yuvamushrooms. I am producing around 10 kgs per day and the produce ismarketed in my home town. I sell fresh mushrooms for the cost of 100 per kg. Besides fresh,i also sell oyster mushroom pickles for the cost of180 per kg.
CONSULTANCY So many individuals are approaching me for consultancy services. So i started another company on the name of yuvamushroomconsultancy. Presently i have 3 clients in south india.
