How perceptions & Expectations Affect Motivation<br />When employees perceived that they will be unable to perform at a level necessary to obtain rewards, whether extrinsic, they are likely to be de-motivated.<br />Reward systems at many organizations are geared toward top performance and ignore mid-level performers.<br />
  • 6. Equity theory<br />People will be motivated when they perceive that they are being treated fairly.<br />
