Brief 2 Brief 2 Presentation Transcript

  • Meet Greg He’s the new manager of your local tourist information centre. You can put together a brochure for him can’t you?
  • Too Old Skool… Paper? You serious?! Greg thinks that all the brochures that they have at the moment are really old and boring! Greg needs your help to get with the times
  • Make it interactive? A brochure of some sort was roughly what he is after but he isn’t sure if he wants it online or offline.
  • Greg’s ideas “ We could have an online interactive brochure! Or we could have a snazzy print one… or both!”
  • Some ideas for you There’s heaps of different things you can put into a brochure… Accommodation Annual Events Best times to visit Attractions Local Businesses Tourist Information Centre Details Landmarks
  • You could get video footage of the town! Greg mentions that you could have a video tour of the town, you probably need short 5 minute videos, but you’ll probably need to record much more so that you have enough footage for when you cut the final
  • What Andrew wants Your interview will contain audio and video. The video will be made up from the interview itself and some visuals of community in which you are from.
  • Get the show out there You will need to organise how you would publish this project so the community can watch – you have lots of choices
  • You need a plan! Andrew will want you to be organised and wants to see your plan for this project. He’s given you a week to put together a design.
  • But where do you start? You’ll need to make this look good. You’ve got a lot to decide and get right before you meet Andrew next week! Interviewing People Video Audio Pictures Storyboarding Help with the job
