  16. 16. The Hyskos invaded Egypt with advanced weapons and horses then they conquered Lower Egypt then they Ruled for the next 200 years.

New Kingdom<br />Started: 1550 BCE<br />Ended: 1050 BCE<br />Dynasties: 13-20<br />Important Facts<br /><ul><li> Ahmose rose to power after driving out </li></ul>the Hyskos from Lower Egypt.<br /><ul><li> Ahmose became a king and then to prevent </li></ul>invasions they went to fight other homelands.<br /><ul><li> First homeland was the Hyskos homeland and</li></ul>second was Syria they kept on invading other<br />homelands and because of these invasions <br />they became very rich.<br /><ul><li> Trade started to develop. Daily Life<br />Foods: Egyptians mostly ate Red meats, fruits and vegetables, wheat and<br />Barley and fish! <br />Activities: Paint hieroglyphics and farming were mostly done.<br />Social Structures: Scribes, Artisans, Artists, Architects, Merchants, Traders,<br />Soldiers, farmers, and slaves.<br />
