  • 7. The UReach website contains many types of content, such as pages, blog entries, resources, partners, events etc. Each one of these content types have been described inside of Drupal and will allow you to insert the pieces required for that specific type of content. EXAMPLES:  Page, Event, Partner Understanding Content Types

  • 9. The UReach website contains several Views – or lists of content. These lists are dynamically created from specific types of content. EXAMPLES:  Blog  Events/Calendar  Partners  Resources  Recent Updates (block) Understanding Content Types

  • 11. URL = Universal Resource Locator ex. Creating URL* – no proceeding slash (/) ex. content/about-us Linking to an Internal URL – start with slash (/) ex. /content/about-us * Please note: content types will auto-create URLs – some are specific to content types – these can (now) be overridden Understanding URLs

  • 16. Roles Groups of users with specific privileges on the website. All logged in users have the role of “Authenticated User”. Additional Roles may be assigned as required: • Authenticated User • Registered Member • Content Editor • Forum Moderator • Content Administrator • User Administrator • • … Site Developer Roles & Permissions
  • 17. Permissions Each Role is given specific permissions to accomplish tasks on the website. Roles may also be stacked to add extra permissions. Example: Content Administrator + User Administrator = All the rights of the Content Administrator role plus the rights to promote users to other certain roles (through the User Administrator role) Roles & Permissions
