  • 2. Autism can be an issue because people with Autism have what arecalled hypersensitivities which are hard not only on them but on othersthat they may interact with which may make other kids bully them.
  • 3. Autism goes back to 1911 when a Swiss physiatrist first coined theterm Autism, throughout the 1920’s through 1950’s doctors andscientists did a lot of research to get the full understanding of thisdisorder. It wasn’t until the 1960’s when we finally got a greatunderstanding of Autism but we are learning more and more everyday.
  • 4. The country with the most Autistic people is theUnited States.
  • 5. The worst affected area of Autism is Nigeria Africa, becausethere isnt good education or schools and also many believethat people with Autism are evil and possessed! Can youbelieve that?!
  • 6. People with Autism in the United States are luckier than kidswith Autism in other countries because of the certain beliefsthey have towards people with mental illnesses and also insome of those other countries education is not as good thereas it is here in the United States.
  • 7. Many people with Autism take the drug Respridal includingmy brother who also has Autism. Doctors prescribe this drugto people with Autism because it affects brain activity andmany also believe it will also become the cure for Autism.
  • 8. I have a personal connection with Autism because not just mybrother has Autism some of my cousins have it too and theyare all different.
  • 9. I think that the solution to Autism will be medication such asRespirdal but more advanced, medicine is also my solution.
  • 10. The long term affect Autism has on people is it leaves manyfamilies in debt because of medicines, special educationprograms, and doctors/ therapists.
  • 11. Some aid organizations for Autism are The Aid For AutismFoundation and The National Autism Society.
  • 12. It costs about $3.2 million to take care of someone withAutism for their life which is leaving families in debt.
  • 13. Autism is still a growing disorder but people are beingtreated better than people with a disorder like this have inthe past, people with any kind of mental illnesses long agowould be brutally tortured.
