After refreshment, you embark on a city tour including:

 Meals: Welcome Dinner. DAY 2 YANGON TO MANDALAY (by air) - AMARAPURA After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon Airport for early morning flight to Mandalay.
 From Mandalay airport, we begin the days’s tour with : 
 
 (1) A drive to the ancient capital of Amarapura, the city of Immortality for a visit to Bagaya Monastery with a famouscollection of Buddha images; local weaving cottage industry of cotton cloth, the two-century old U-Bein teak bridge on the Taungthaman Lake and if there is time,observe the lunch process of thousand of monks who take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence. 
 
 We then proceed to Mandalay and check in at the hotel.
After refreshment, your sightseeing tour of Mandalay begins again including : 
 
 (1) Maha Muni, the holiest buddhist site in Upper Myanmar : a Buddha image of great beauty and witness the reverenceand worship of the local people . 
 
 (2) Mandalay, the last royal capital of Myanmar is the best place to see all the traditional arts and crafts. You will visit gold- leaf making work-places and see how the gold leaf is being made by hand in a traditional way. 
 
 (3) Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha's Doctrine.
 
 (4) Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings.
 
 (5) Enjoy a panoramic sunset of the city and the Ayeyawaddy River from Mandalay Hill.

Your guide will fill you in on the stories and legends that make this festival so interesting. See the gay population of Myanmar on parade and wildexuberant dancing and traditional country fair-like atmosphere.Lunch at a local restaurant.

 Meals: Breakfast.Lunch, Dinner DAY 4 MANDALAY – MINGUN – SAGAING HILLS On this day :
 
 (1) We go to Mandalay pier, embarking on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun, famed for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and MingunBell; a 90 ton ringing bell and largest of its kind in the world.Lunch at local restaurant. 
 
 (2) We continue on to the SagaingHills,which is dotted with pagodas,monasteries and nunneries and is a major center for 
meditation. 
 
 (3) We visit the Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, an enormous dome-shaped pagoda (said to be the shape of a queen’s breast) built in the 16th century
 
 (4) We observe work at traditional pottery and silver-smith workshops. 
 
 (5) In the evening we enjoy the sunset and the panoramic view of the Irrawaddy River from the Sagaing Hills and drive back to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

 (3) BogyokeAung San Market(named after the father of Aung San SuuKyi and formerly known as the Scott Market )to purchase souvenirs and handicrafts if you wish. There are gems, fabrics, lacquer ware, wood sculptures,paintingsetc…
