Marilyn Monroe ranks as one of the most iconic women in Hollywood history, so it’s
no surprise that today’s celebrities are stealing her style! Famous actresses, singers,
and models have all copied Marilyn’s classic poses, photographs, outfits, and (of
course!) sex appeal. From well established stars like Nicole Kidman, to next
generation ingenues like Scarlett Johansson, it seems that everyone wants to be just

Marilyn Monroe’s style was both innocent and sultry, elegant yet unrefined. These
contradictions, plus her stunning looks and vampish figure, explain why Marilyn was
so appealing. Some of her charm was just a facade, though, and she often played up

quite intelligent, though, in a series of career moves that propelled her to legendary
status.

Despite her fame and fortune, Marilyn experienced a great deal of personal suffering,
and unfortunately met an untimely end. This is perhaps part of why she is so often
imitated - modern women (celebrities and otherwise) can relate to her as a real person.
