    • Deer
      • A buck is about 38 inches tall.
      • Each year a male deer grows new antlers.
      • Deer favorite food is grass, berries, acorns and mushrooms.
      • A male deer is called a buck.
      • A female deer is called a doe.
    • Essential Questions
      • How do deer effect people?
      • Deer effect people by sometimes causing accidents.
      • What would it be like without deer?
      • Without deer we wouldn’t have anything to hunt.
      • Why do they live?
      • Deer live here because we have food.
    • Wolves
      • Wolves are dogs.
      • Wolves are big and strong.
      • Timberwolves are called gray wolves.
      • Male wolves grow bigger than females.
      • Wolves can have five or six babies.
    • Essential Questions
      • How do wolves effect people?
      • If wolves were not here there would be no accidents.
      • What would it be like without wolves?
      • We would not have books about wolves.
      • Why do they live?
      • Wolves live here because we have small animals they can eat like moose, earthworms, berries and grasshoppers.
    • Chipmunk
      • Chipmunks eat nuts.
      • Chipmunks have stripes on their backs.
      • In the Summer they can be seen scampering around.
      • They Chipmunk cleans it’s self like a cat.
      • Chipmunks live underground.
    • Essential Questions
      • How do Chipmunks effect people? Chipmunk case accidents.
      • What would it be like without Chipmunks? No accidents.
      • Why do they live here?
      • Chipmunks live here because we have food like nuts, acorns and grapes.
    • Bears
      • Baby bears drink there mother’s milk.
      • A mother bear protects the baby bear.
      • Grizzly bears can run 40 miles
      • Sloth bears eat termites
    • Essential Questions
      • How do bears effect people?
      • Bears effect people because they are predators
      • What would it be like without bears?
      • Without bears humans would be safer in parks.
      • Why do they live here?
      • Bears live here because we have food like termites, berries and milk.
