Basically, its the Jigsaw pattern.. Individual or initial groupTeacher Introductory individual (or initial group) activity Collaborative activity around the sub- problem Collaborative activity around the problem and solution proposal COLLAGE, a Collaborative Learning Design Editor Based on Patterns, Davinia Hernández-Leo
Step 1: rapid presentations● 4-5 papers in each thematic session● 10 minute presentations● Use post-its to note key points / issues / questions / ideas from the presentation
Step 2: Collaborative concept mapping● Use your post-its from the presentation● Group them● Connect them
Step 3: discussionCollaboratively produce a presentation whichincludes: ● The key issues that emerged from your session ● Major questions ● Your concept mapThis presentation will be presented at a plenary to theother two thematic groups
Step 4: integrationWe will mix the groups.Each mixed group will review the presentations fromthe previous session, and produce a statement on: ● What are the cross-cutting issues, themes and concerns for Learning Design? ● What are the big questions? ● What should be the next steps, in terms of research and practice?
