To be able to learn well , a school should have a quiet place for studies, clean and neat classrooms and helpful friends. Without these three crucial aspects, learning in school would be extremely difficult.2 A quiet place is extremely important for students to study and learn as it helps in concentration and provides less distraction. If a student is distracted, he pays less attention to the work he is doing and more attention to the distraction. Over time, this lead to procrastination which is a contributing factor to why students fail their class tests and ultimately, their national examinations. Peace, quiet and serenity is hard to find in this 21st Century World so a quiet room within a school is bliss to anyone who wishes to study.3 Many schools, though big or small, are built with classrooms. Classrooms give teachers a quiet place to teach their students and as the room is somewhat secluded, it minimises distractions and thus leads to better learning by students. When classrooms are untidy, cluttered or dirty, students find it hard to concentrate on studing as the litter is a big distraction. Also, litter within the class can also may attract insects into the classroom, thus making the classroom a very dirty place to study and may also cause a health hazard. Keeping a classroom clean helps a student learn as a cluttered classroom leads to a cluttered mind. Minimising on litter and maximising on cleanliness will make a classroom and excellent place to learn.4 Since students spend between four to five years in Secondary School, over time they will make friends. Having friends not only benefits you socially, it benefits you academically. Having a partner to study with inculcates teamwork and generosity between friends and by studing together, they can help each other in topic or subjects for a certain subjects that they may have trouble in. Having friends gives the chance to be more open to the world, and thus opening their mind in everything they do, including studing.5 Although a quiet place to study, a clean and neat classroom and helpful friends all play a part in making a vibrant learning environment in school, it is best if all these 3 aspects were put together as they benefit each other such as good friends being able to study together within a clean, neat and quiet classroom. If all 3 aspects are used together, a vibrant learning environment is created within a school.
