    • Meet Jen. She blogs on stuff she’s passionate about.
    • For years, she’s produced great content on: games...
    • ...living cheaply in Brooklyn...
    • Jen started running AdSense a while back.
    • ...and while she definitely doesn’t mind the money...
    • ... it’s certainly not something to retire on.
    • She wants to make more money - and with the...
    • traffic growth, she knows direct sales might work.

    • And she waits.
    • Eventually a Fat Cat with some money comes around.
    • Tells her he wants to buy an ad.
    • “Great!” she says, email me!
    • So he does - telling her more what he’s looking for.
    • They play email tag for a bit and decide it’s a good fit.
    • They do a little haggling over price..
    • Spend some time figuring out the schedule
    • Nope, not that date.
    • This one?
    • OK! Alright! They figure it out.
    • Mr. Fat Cat sends over the ad creative.
    • If Jen is a bit techie, she’ll hard code it into the site.
    • Or she might have an ad server like OpenX.
    • “Where do I upload the ad again?” Jen asks, “In Zones?”
    • “Or maybe campaigns?”
    • Jen is smart. She figures it out eventually.
    • She finally gets the ad up...
    • But Mr. Fat Cat is not pleased!
    • The ad isn’t the right dimensions! He sent over a square!
    • But still, Jen is the one to go fix this issue.
    • Ah... that’s better.
    • Of course Mr. Fat Cat also wants stats and reports.
    • Jen has to figure out a way to accept payment.
    • She invoices them on PayPal, ultimately.
    • She finally gets paid!
    • Well ... maybe it’s more like this much. She’s happy.
    • But tired. “Is direct sales really worth all this effort?”
    • This is where we come in. We’ve seen these challenges in many publishers, and we decided we were going to do something about it.

    • Where advertisers can easily browse her inventory.

    • It’s now super easy for him to learn more about the ad.
    • Schedule the date..
    • He goes through a simple process: 1)Account creation
    • 2) Setting up Billing Information

    • 3) Upload and configure the ad creative himself.
    • Just one last step to confirm...
    • Jen’s Site Jen Jen And he’s done!
    • For Jen it’s even easier. She gets an email & logs in.
    • She sees the new order in our dashboard.
    • All she has to do is approve the ad.
    • And everything else is taken care of.
    • The ad runs as it is supposed to, in the right size.
    • Mr. Fat Cat can see the stats for his page.
