Michael Creation Powerpoint

 1. 1. Creation The First Day In the beginning, there was nothing. So God said “let there be light” and there was light. Then he separated the light from the darkness and called the light “day” and the darkness “night”. Genesis 1:1-5
 2. 2. The Second Day

On the second day, God said “let there be a dome to divide the water and to keep it in two separate areas”. It was done. God called the dome above the water “sky” or “heaven”.

Genesis 1:6-8

 3. 3. The Third Day

On the third day, God said “let there be water under the sky in one place, sob there will be land”. God Named the land “earth”, and the water that had come together “sea”. Then he commanded, “let there be all kinds of plants, fruits and vegetables”, and it was done. So the with all different types of plants. God was very pleased with what he saw.

Genesis 1:9-13

 4. 4. The Fourth Day

On the fourth day, God commanded “let there be lights in the sky that will separate day from night and to show the ,the days, weeks, months, years and religious festivals begin and end. One light will shine in the day to give light to the earth , and the other in the night. So God made the two larger lights, the Sun to rule over the day and the moon to rule over the night, he also made the stars. He put the lights in the sky. [Gen 1:14-19

 5. 5. The Fifth Day

On the fifth day God commanded “let the seas and skies be filled with countless living creatures. Great Whales and tiny fish swam in the ocean, while flocks of birds of every kind, size, colour and shape filled the air. God was very pleased with what he saw so he blessed them all and told them to reproduce so that the sea and the sky would stay filled with all kinds of animals. (Gen 1:20-23)

 6. 6. The Sixth Day

On the sixth day, God ordered the earth to produce every kind of land animal –from the smallest mouse to the biggest elephant. When the earth was full, God looked at the result and was very pleased. Then God said “Now it is time to make human beings: They will be like me and have something of me in them”. So humans were created in God’s image.

 7. 7. Day Six. Continued .

God made some humans male and some humans female, and all of them were blessed. “Be fruitful and multiply”, God said, “so that your children and your children’s children will inhabit every part of the earth and take good care of it. I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds and the animals. The plants shall be yours for food”. On the sixth day the universe was complete.

{Gen 1:24-23}

 8. 8. On the seventh day, God rested. For ever more, the seventh day would be set aside as a day of rest. It would be blessed and treated as a holy day, marking the creation of the world. The Seventh Day
 9. 9. My Prayer Dear God, thank you for all the animals, birds and humans. Only one thing- one God could create anything like what you created, and that- thing person or God is you, Lord, my God. Thank you for my skills, my friends, family, house and all the other things that I have and other people don’t have. You are so strong, Lord. You have the power to do anything you want, you made Adam from a hand full of dust, and Eve from one of Adam’s ribs.
 10. 10. Three ways we can care for Creation Pick up rubbish. We need to pick up rubbish because if we don’t, the world will be polluted. Pollution is bad for the plants, animals and oceans. If rubbish gets in the oceans turtles might think the rubbish is a jelly fish and might eat it and die. Same for animals, they might think it’s food and they might eat it. If rubbish goes on plants, it might block the sun light from getting to the roots of the plant or tree.
 11. 11. Three ways we can care for Creation.Continued We need to plant trees because trees give us oxygen, make homes for birds, bats and other animals that live in trees.
 12. 12. Three ways we can care for Creation Give food to animals. We need to give food to animals, especially animals that live in areas were there is not much prey for them or if they can’t or don’t kill other animals to eat. These ways are important to me because God made the world so we could care for it and look after it, not pollute it or chop down trees.
 13. 13. One way we can be responsible for God’s Creation One way we can be responsible for God’s Creation is by picking up rubbish, Because if we don’t, the world will be full of pollution. But that doesn't mean pick up one piece of rubbish every week, it means pick up at least two pieces of rubbish every day. Another way we can care for creation is by making a group that picks up rubbish every day. The more people in the group, the cleaner the world will be.
 14. 14. One way we can be responsible for God’s Creation. Continued Also another way we can care for the environment is by making or having several more “Clean up Australia Day”. It will help the environment to be much more cleaner. That is how I think we could be responsible for God’s Creation.
