In the beginning there was nothing. Then God commanded “let there be light” then light appeared. God named the lightness day and the darkness night. God was proud with what he saw. That was the end of the first day. D Day One
On the second day God commanded “let there be a dome to divide the water above from the water below” and it was done. God named the dome sky and the water sea. God was excited that the world was going to be wonderful.
On the third day God said “let there be water under the sky that will come together in one place so that the land will appear”. It was done. He named the land earth. Then he commanded “let the earth produce all kinds of plants those that grow grain and those that grow fruit. It was done. God was happy with what he saw. The third day was over.
On the fourth day God commanded “let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from night to show the time when days, years and religious festivals begin. They will shine in the sky and give light to the earth, and it was done. So God made the two larger lights, the sun to take over the day and the moon to take over the night. He also made the stars. He placed the lights in the sky to take over the day and night, and to shine on the earth, and to separate the lightness from the darkness. God was pleased with what he saw. That was the fourth day.
Then God commanded “let the water be filled with lots of living creatures, and let the air be filled with birds.” He blessed the creatures in the sea and told them to reproduce and to fill the sea with creatures, and he told the birds to increase the number. That was the end of the fifth day.
On the sixth day God commanded “let there animal life domestic and wild large and small” and it was done. Then God said “and now I will make human beings, and they will look like me. They will be stewards of my creation.” He created male and female. “Have many children so that your decendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control. I have created all kinds of grains and all kinds of fruit for you to survive. I have created plants and grass for the animals.” God looked at everything he had made and he was so happy. That was the sixth day.
By the time it got to the seventh day the whole universe was completed and God blessed that day and made it holy. God separated that day special. That is how the universe was created. God’s creation is amazing.
My place in creation is to be a steward of God’s creation. Also I am not allowed to pollute. I can be a steward of God’s creation by caring for the animals and the plants. Also I can tell other people how they can be a steward of God’s creation and I can tell them to not pollute.
