  2. 2. Anzac Day the 25 th of April is the most important occasion in the year. It marks the memory that so many Australian and New Zealand soldiers died. Anzac Day
  3. 3. When the first world war broke out in 1914 Australia had been a federal commonwealth for only 14years only. The new national government was eager to establish its reputation among the nations of the world. In 1915 the Australians and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition. The creation of Anzac Day is important. The word Anzac stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Anzac Day
  4. 4. . Anzac Day . Australians celebrate Anzac Day with a Dawn service every year about 6.00o’clock in the morning and a national commemoration on the 25 th of April.
