  2. 2. The Brain
  3. 3. Evolutionary Brain First sign of our brain was the brain stem and the hypothalamus which helps us to breathing and eating and other basic things. Hippocampus (seahorse) was the first upper sign of your brain that helped you to learn and remember things. Last but not least is the cortex which helps you with modern things.
  4. 4. The Brain Parietal lobe-sensory This where pain and touch and outside influences come in Occipital lobe Vision This is sight (The word vision Gives it away) Temporal lobe-Language This is speech. Frontal lobe –motor This part is your movement.
  5. 5. The Lungs
  6. 6. Lung Size Your left lung is smaller then your right lung, this is to allow room for the heart. Your lungs are the second biggest organ(biggest inside your body)after your skin. Your lungs has over a whopping 300 million air sacs that is more air sacs then everyone in England.WOW!
  7. 7. The Heart
  8. 8. Amazing Heart Your heart pumps an amazing 2575440 litres a year! So when you are 70 your heart would of pumped 180280800!(More then the amount of people that live in Pakistan!) Your heart not only pumps blood to your body but also to it self!
  9. 9. Kidneys
  10. 10. About your kidneys Your kidney is connected to your bladder. Your kidney is important because it sends things that you don’t need to your bladder and stops the things you still need in.
  11. 11. Liver
  12. 12. About the liver Your liver squirts bile to help break down food. Your liver is part of your digestive system. Your liver is necessary for survival; there has never been a long term absence of a liver function.
  13. 13. Spleen
  14. 14. About your spleen Your spleen is a blood filter so you can not remove it or you would kill him/her. It removes old red blood cells and then holding some reserve blood in case you get hemorrhagic shock.
