ISSIP Ambassadors  Ambassadors link ISSIP to other professional associations, research centers, conferences, e.g. PICEMT, IEEE, AIS, ACM, SfS, INFORMS, others…  Ambassadors help ISSIP co-sponsor at other organization conferences or events:  Best Student Paper Awards  Conference sessions, workshops, panels, etc. 5

ISSIP Special Interest Groups  Global network of ISSIP members who pursue significant long-term activity in an specialty.  Existing SIGs:  Cloud Mobility  Education & Research  Energy and Power  Service Futures  User Experience  Other: Big Data & Analytics, Globalization, Innovation Tools & Methods, and more…. 6

  • 8. 8 ISSIP Students Mentorship Program  Program recently launched and in Pilot.  Goal: Value Co-creation between Academia, Industry and ISSIP  Universities recruit student volunteers for ISSIP  ISSIP assigns students on industry service-oriented projects through ISSIP Institutional Dues Paying Members  Based on performance, students may get interviews with ISSIP member companies  Example of deliverables: written reports, white papers, research, data sets, etc.  Participating Companies in the Pilot:  IBM, Cisco  Participating Universities in the Pilot:  Hult International School of Business  San Jose State University Schools of Management and Engineering
