  • 2. How does deforestation affect animals? When forests are cut down , the animals are left with no place to hide from their predators and to hide from natural disaster so there would be less of that kind of species of animals left.

    • How Deforestation affects it: More than half of their habitat was converted into farmland, coconut plantations, and forest plantations.

  • 7. MORE ABOUT THE BALI STARLING
    • Description: The Bali starling is the most beautiful of all the mynahs.
    • It is a thick-set, starling-sized bird with snow
    • white plumage (the layer of feathers that cover a bird) and an elegant long white crest.
    • The bare skin on the face is bright blue, finishing in a point at the sides of the neck.

    • The tip of its broad tail and the tips of the flight feathers are black, and the beak, feet and legs are bluish-grey. It is found only on the island of Bali and has now been adopted as their national bird. It weighs about 85 g and is about 25 cm long.
