  • 3. The Clarizen Salesforce Integration in Action at Clarizen Clarizen is introducing the new automated process of Quick Start Packages creation. The automation uses Clarizen’s powerful integration with Salesforce.Here’s how it works:1. A PO is submitted with a Quick Start addition .2. An Opportunity gets automatically created in Salesforce with all the Purchase Order data.3. The Account Manager (Account Owner) marks the opportunity as „Closed Won‟.
  • 4. The Clarizen Salesforce Integration in Action at Clarizen4. Immediately, a new Quick Start Package (Project) gets created in „Clarizen Int‟ and is linked to theOpportunity (no more manual linkage…)
  • 5. The Clarizen Salesforce Integration in Action at Clarizen5. The Clarizen Project gets created in a folder called “Pipeline – Get Quickstart Package”.All fields get automatically populated. Fixed Price, CS Region, CS Package Type, CS Committed Hours, etc.
  • 6. The Clarizen Salesforce Integration in Action at Clarizen6. Assigned CSM needs to select the package and run the Custom Action “CS: Assign to CSM”.7. All fields are pre populated but presented mostly to confirm the CSM assigned.
  • 7. The Clarizen Salesforce Integration in Action at Clarizen8. The Custom Action activates the Project and moves it to the CSM folder.9. The CSM reports time in Clarizen‟s Time Tracking that is automatically reflected in Salesforce for fulltransparency with Sales.10. Voilà !How to create a non-packaged PS hours1. The Organization level Custom Action „CS – Service Package‟ is still in place to allow CSMs to track timeagainst committed hours which are not Quick Start packages2. Note: Effective immediately, there is no need to manually create a Quick Start to avoid duplications .
