UK B2C E-Commerce Report 2011Key Findings Covering Trends, Sales, Shares, Products, Users / Shoppers and Players • Despite a predicted slowdown of B2C E-Commerce sales growth, the proportion of online sales vs. bricks and mortar stores increases. • B2C E-Commerce share on total retail sales accounted for 8.2% in 2010, up from 7.4% in 2009. • In August 2010, British online shoppers spent on average GBP 67 for clothing, about half the online spending for groceries. • Tesco, Argos and the Shop Direct Group are leading UK B2C E-Commerce retailers in terms of sales in 2010. • 10% of British individuals accessed the Internet with their mobile phone in 2010 - above the EU average of 7%.
