  2. 2. Seventy per cent of Australia is desert. In deserts there is very little rain. When it rains it rains heavily! The central is in the middle of the desert. Aborigines did not come because it was a place of death!!!!!<br />Deserts<br />

  6. 6. Many explores went searching for an inland sea. It’s bed is made of baked mud and salt. South Australia has a pink lake and a blue lake. The blue lake is at Mount Gambier.<br />Lakes<br />

  8. 8. Lots of Australians live in houses all around Australia. At Coober Pedy, where opals are mined, people live in dugouts. In Coober Pedy they even have hotels!!<br />Cities and towns<br />
