Senior Power Supply Engineer (board level)
Job Description:
• Responsible for requirement analysis on board power aspect for wireless or network product.
• Board power architecture analysis (e.g. IBA/DPA/CPA) and design for wireless or network
product.
• Responsible for detailed design and verification of related board power, including converter
design、sequence design、EMC design and thermal design etc.
• Work with teammates to implement cost-effective/high efficient/high reliability board power
solution for wireless or network product.
Essential Skills required:
• More than 6 years experiences on detailed design of power converter for wireless or network
product
• Skilled in board power supply components reliable application and analysis.
• Skilled in power supply loop control (such as, VMC、CMC and digital control) theory and design.
• Skilled in detailed EMC/thermal design of board power converter.
• Skilled in SMPS magnetic material selection、design and verification for mass production.
• The ability to analyse the overall board power supply cost and reliability.
• Knowledge of lighting protection and grounding design in board power area.
Additional skills required:
• Bachelor or masters or higher in electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.
• Sensitive insight on novel board power technique and development trend.
• Initiative and positive personal personality.
• Excellent communication and work skills in multicultural team environment.
• Willing to concentrate on the technology field and be the specialist.
Beneficial:
• Experienced in analogue/digital electronics background with expertise in SMPS design from
telecommunications companies (especially BTS/DSL development experience).
• Experienced in SMPS modeling and analysis using power simulation tools, such as Pspice
/SIMetrix /Saber and related reliable simulation methodology
• Skilled in schematic/layout drawing and practical experience of handling measurement
instrumentation in lab.
• Familiarity with related power and structure application standards, such as ETSI, NEBS, IEC.
• Knowledge of digital power technique and related board power architecture design.
