1. Enigmas created Target audience How is genre/plot
established
Mood/atmosphere
created and how?
We as the audience
want to know who
killed the little boy and
why?
Mostly 16+ mainly for
the male audience they
would engage in this
film as theylike playing
violent games such as
‘Call of Duty’
There is guns and
bullets symbolic codes
of crime and action.
From the snippet of the
film we can tell from
the death at the very
beginning that it’s going
to be very serious and
it’s going to highlight
issues that happen in
that particular country
It’s also not very clear
why there’s a war going
on, we as the audience
want to know why? And
who their opposing side
is?
Also fans of Nicholas
Cage may watch the
film as he’s known for
being in action/thriller
films.
The location in which
the film starts in is a
factory where bullets
are being made we can
already tell it’s going to
be a violent film
The music however
doesn’t match what is
happen around. As
there’s country music
makes it seem that
everything is calm.
However we know it’s
not going to be a calm
film as it’s about war.
We could suggest that
everything is ok until
the mood is disturbed
by death taking place.
We also don’t know
who picked up the
bullet and fired it, is it
someone of significance
in the film.
For a more active
audience as they will be
more engaged and
won’t take their eyes of
the screen. As there’sa
lot going on you need to
be focused as you don’t
want to miss any
important parts.
There’s a point of view
shot of the bullet, we
are almost being taken
on a journey and the
journey ends when the
bullet is fired.
We already see a young
child being shot in the
head and we already
see blood. Further
reinforcing it being a
crime/war film.
