3. How to create a blog
1. Go on https://fr.wordpress.com/ and clic on [create a website] on the main button
2. Choose you domain name “exemple.wordpress.com” and clic “next step”
3. Fill the following informations :
 e-mail address
 ID
 Password
 And clic on “next step”
Wordpress will propose you to choose to pay for a personalize domain name : just clic at the
bottom of the page, on “no, thanks”.
Then go on your mailbox, open the mail from wordpress, and clic on “Confirm”. Your
account is ready! You can start posting…

4. How to create a new post
1. On your main console, clic on “My site” to go to the administration console.
You can start writing a post with a clic on the button ADD (left on the image) or on the Icon
on the right hand side. (see above, the pencil)

Please note that you can write
your content in a word
document, then copy/paste it
in wordpress post.
The « preview » button
allows to see what your
content looks like
“Save draft” button enables you to
save your work in progression.
When your content is published, it
is replaced by a “update” button
“Publish” button enables you to put
your content online!

6. How to insert an image
1. Put your cursor in the main frame where you want your image to, then clic on
2. On your Media Library, choose a picture or clic on “upload
files” to look for a picture on your computer.
3. clic on “select files” to choose a picture, then on “insert into
post” to confirm
4. Clic on “align left” to put your image and your text ordered properly. Now your image is
ready to be published !

7. How to insert a youtube video
1. choose a video on youtube and copy the link in the URL bar
2. Back in wordpress, put your cursor in the main frame where you want to put your video to,
then clic on
3. Then clic on
4. Paste your URL in the main bar and then clic on “insert into post”. Clic on Update and your
video is now online!

8. How to insert a tweet
1. choose a tweet copy the link displayed at the bottom, with the clic on the “see more” button
2. Copy the link in the window, the go back to wordpress
2. In wordpress, put your cursor in the main frame where you want to put your video to, then
clic on
3. Then clic on
4. Paste your URL in the main bar and then clic on “insert into post”. Clic on Update and your
video is now online!

9. How to create a media gallery
1. Prepare your images on Pixlr so they are pretty light for your blog (no more than 500 kb)
2. In wordpress, put your cursor in the main frame where you want to put your gallery, then
clic on
3. Then clic on
4. On your Media Library, choose a picture or clic on “upload
files” to look for a picture on your computer.
3. clic on “select files” to choose a picture, then on “insert into post” to confirm
4. Select the picture that will be part of your gallery and clic on “Create a new gallery (see
belove)
5. Edit your gallery. Choose the size of your pictures and the type of your gallery (see below).
Finally, clic on insert gallery! Your gallery is ready!
