Contacting the band for the first time This email was to ask the permission of the band whether they would allow us to use their song “So Messed Up” within our coursework or not.
The reply from the band This email was a reply from the band; New York Summer, allowing us to use their song within our coursework.
Replying to the band with the information required This email shows what we wrote back to band giving them the information that they required, this being the deadline of when we need to song and how we came across the band – New York Summer.
Agreement on which song to send to us This email shows the agreement that we had of which song we wanted for our music video.
Thanking the band and asking for the meaning of the song This email shows that we thanked the band for this and also we asked what the song “So Messed Up” is about – the story behind the lyrics.
Sending of the song “So Messed Up” This email shows the band sending us the song “So Messed Up”.
Asking for the meaning of the song This email is just about re-asking for the meaning of the lyrics.
Agreeing to sending us a reason behind the song This email shows that the band member Jared will send us the reasoning behind the song.
Thanking the band once again This email shows that we thanked the band.

Thanking the band for the reason behind the song and asking for the lyrics This email shows us thanking the band for the description and also asking if we could have the lyrics to the song so we would be able to create a music video which ties into the lyrics.
Band agreeing to send lyrics This email is showing that the band will send us the lyrics to his song later on this evening.
Asking again for the lyrics This email has been sent because we didn’t receive the lyrics that evening from the band, so I decided to email them again as we urgently needed the lyrics to start our storyboard.
The lyrics “So Messed Up” This email was sent by the band the day after I contacted them about the lyrics, they send the lyrics and also saying “let me know if you need anything else”.

Contacting the band about the problem and song list needed This email was to tell the band New York Summer that I couldn’t get another email address and could they just send me the names of the other songs.

Contacting the band saying yes This email was done to tell the band which songs we wanted.
Songs being included on the album This email is sent to us giving us the name of the songs which will be going on there upcoming CD.
Thanking the band This email was to thank the band for sending us the song list – this allows us to know think about the CD Cover.
Asking for a new song “More Than This” This email was to ask the band if we could have another song, the reasoning behind this was because we were finding it difficult to create a storyboard which would fit in with the song “So Messed Up”, so now have decided that the song “More Than This” would be a lot easier and we already have ideas on paper.
Agreement with the new song This email shows the agreement that the band are allowing us to change the song to “More Than This”.
Thanking the band This email is us thanking the band for allowing us to change the song and for when they send us the song “More Than This”.
The song and lyrics to “More Than This” This email is the band sending us both the song and the lyrics to “More Than This”, as well as giving us the meaning of the song too.
