Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibit

Rules of Exhibit
Event Purpose
Arise Christian Church is a new church in Central Florida. Aside from welcoming the
community to the exhibit and worship, this also presents an opportunity for local
Christian artists to exhibit their artistic talent in a public, yet sacred environment.
The theme is:
“Experiencing Hispanic/Latino(a) art thru the lens of faith.”
This is a free event open to the entire Central Florida community.
Eligibility
Participation is open. HOWEVER, all entries displayed should appropriately adhere
to the celebration of Hispanic Heritage, and should provoke reflection on Christian
faith and culture.
Dates & Times
The art exhibit @ Arise will be open the following dates:
September 20th
September 27th
October 4th
October 11th
The schedule each week will be:
Art Gallery: 10am – 10:30am*
Worship Service: 10:30am – 12pm
Art Gallery: 12pm – 1pm**
*set up each Sunday will begin at 9:45am
**tear down each Sunday will begin at 1pm. Art may not be left overnight.

Arise Christian Church is located at the Wycliffe Volunteer Center in Moss Park/Lake
Nona. For directions, please visit www.AriseOrlando.org.
All participants must adhere to the following criterion:
Art displayed may be asked to be removed if it is deemed inappropriate by the
pastor and/or on-site coordinator.
No inappropriate language and/or nudity in any art form is permitted.
Art displayed should be the original work of the artist, and not using someone
else’s work. Copies are not accepted.
Selling one’s art is permitted on site. HOWEVER, setting up a sales booth is
not permitted. The artist may provide business cards and/or any other printed
materials or order forms as it relates to their craft, business, and/or ministry.
Please provide a description and identification label for each item on display.
This is the responsibility of the artist.
Art may not be rigged from the ceiling, or hung on a wall. Easels and/or tables
will be provided for each artist if noted on the Registration Form.
It is requested that by participating in this event, that your attendance and art is
displayed at all four (4) of the art gallery dates & times during Hispanic
Heritage Month.
The artist or an artist representative is required to be present when their art is
displayed. Arise Christian Church is not responsible for any damage caused to
the art or misplacement of the art. Artists are responsible for their own
items/art.
This is a public event, and photographing and filming of the exhibit is
permitted by attendees. Arise Christian Church reserves the right to publish
photos and video taken of the exhibit.
Deadline to receive artist Registration Form is Wednesday, September 16th by 5pm.
