  2. 2. Image Editors <ul><li>Pixlr Online Editor </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Allows users to upload photos and edit them. I had some difficulty using some of the “free tools”. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Another option users have is to create images if they do not have images to upload. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>I did have some difficulty using some of the tools, they seemed to freeze at times. </li></ul></ul>

Image Editors <ul><ul><li>Picnik-very user friendly, you can add many different effects to pictures you upload to the site. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Disadvantage not all features are free, you will need to purchase a membership to use more premium features. However, if you plan on using them it is definitely worth it. </li></ul></ul>

Using Audio and Web Streams <ul><li>Voicethread </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Allows users to share and upload images and videos. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Users can have conversations to discuss their projects and others can also comment on the shared items. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>My voicethread-Great way to share work. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This project allowed me to bring my seven year olds school project to life. She also liked hearing her voice and seeing her work online. </li></ul></ul>

Creating Video With Generators <ul><li>Generators allow you to create videos online. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Animoto </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Flixtime </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Both allow you to upload photos, add music and easily create a video that you can share all over the world. </li></ul>

Posting Original Videos <ul><li>iMovie-Incorporates digital photos, videos, text and music. </li></ul><ul><li>Easy to drag and drop media into iMovie and to add transitions to create an edited final production. </li></ul><ul><li>When adding music you can trim clips at the beginning or end to capture the part of the song you would like for your movie. </li></ul>

Posting Original Videos <ul><li>Ken Burns Effect </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Allows you to crop images, and focus on what will be shown in each frame. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Once your project is complete you can publish it in many ways. Multimedia Experiences <ul><li>This course has definitely opened my eyes to so many useful multimedia resources. </li></ul><ul><li>I am amazed how many different and free options are available online. </li></ul><ul><li>I hope to incorporate many of the resources I used and learned in my computer lab with my students. </li></ul><ul><li>I enjoy the challenge of learning new and exciting tools and hope to continue to learn more. </li></ul><ul><li>The examples provided were excellent and easy to follow. </li></ul>

Online Learning <ul><li>I personally really enjoy the online learning experience. </li></ul><ul><li>It allows you to complete the assigned tasks at your own pace and comfort level. </li></ul><ul><li>The instructor was very helpful with any questions and provided excellent examples and resources for all portions of my online learning. </li></ul><ul><li>The moodle was extremely organized and easy to follow. All of the assignments were clearly defined. </li></ul>

Online Learning <ul><li>Overall I would highly recommend an online class, specifically a class of this nature. </li></ul><ul><li>This is my third online class with Rich Kiker at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. </li></ul><ul><li>I truly gain so many useful ideas and tools to incorporate in my classroom from these online classes. I hope to take more in the future. </li></ul>
