  • 2. A Little Pre-Game Warm-up…
    • Participation in Youth Baseball is enjoyed by boys and girls of all ages, and from a variety of backgrounds all over the U.S. and the World.
    • Kids get physical exercise and also learn lessons about teamwork, competition and sportsmanship
    • Most of all, the kids and families have fun!
  • 3. Existing “Buddy” Programs
    • Baseball programs for players with special needs are available in the area
    • Usually played on regular baseball fields
    • Programs are good but dirt and grass fields present some limitations
    • Using other’s fields does not provide a sense of “ownership”
    • Facilities often don’t provide comfort for players, friends and family
