  • 1. How long have you been Australia? I been in Australia for 3 years now
  • 2. Did you or your family come to Australia as refugees? Yes I came to Australia with my brother .
  • 3. How did you come to Australia from your home country? I came by airplane.
  • 4. How did you feel when you first arrived in Australia? Describe what it was like. Yeah I was happy but I was little confuse because it was a totally different country, people and language
  • 5. What did you find difficult when you arrived? Language ,had to communicate with other people.
  • 6. What information were you given when you arrived? Government and education .
  • 7. What things were hard to find out? Transport, had to find jobs, help.
  • 8. What other things did you need or want to know? Where to get help.
  • 9. How did you find the answers to these? From immigration centre, friends.
  • 10. How could the experience have been better for you? By analyzing and prolems.
  • 11. What advice would you give to other new migrants and refugees? Work independently .
  • 12. How can we help them settle? Involve in every community work and community with different people and get more skills
