    Pros: you get to write about something that’s interesting to you, if you like writing you will have fun doing the job
    Cons: long work hours, sitting down and writing by your self for a long time

    To be an author you usually need a bachelors degree, you can get a bachelors degree online at full sail university for about 54 thousand dollars for all 4 years.
    If you are very good at writing you might be able to get a job
  • Salary
    The middle 50% made in between $38,150 and $75,060 the lowest 10% made less than $28 thousand
    The top 10% made more than $106,630
    Some get other jobs because being an author alone might not make you enough money, some are editors.
  • Advancing in the job
    Writers usually advance in their job by getting a better reputation by taking more challenging assignments
