    • During the summer the air is hot, therefore the air is still.
    • Temperature- a measure of the average amount of motion of molecules.
    • High temperature equals rapidly moving molecules.
    • Low temperature equals less rapidly moving molecules.
  • 3. Wind
    • Wind is air moving in a specific direction.
    • Warm expanding air has low atmospheric pressure.
    • Cooler air is denser and tends to sink, bringing about high atmospheric pressure.
    • Wind speed can be measured using an anemometer.

    • Humidity
    • Relative Humidity
    • The amount of water vapor present in the air.
    • More water vapor can be present when the air is warm then when its cool.
    • The measure of the amount of water vapor present in the air compared to the amount needed for saturation at a specific temperature
  • 5.
    • The temperature at which air is saturated and condensation forms.
