Founded in 1996, Westec pioneered the concept of interactive video
and audio monitoring and is still the only company that combines
two-way audio with video for unprecedented interactivity.
Westec provides the latest in technology and real-time monitoring
by trained Intervention Specialists, through their state-of-the-art
Command Center, located in West Des Moines, Iowa.

In November 2007, Westec acquired Digital Witness, a leader in the
video surveillance field with a focus on affordable subscription
