  6. 6. Treatment? <ul><li>Scrub the bite clean </li></ul><ul><li>Put immune globulin on the bite </li></ul><ul><li>Five doses of vaccine </li></ul><ul><li>between days 0-28 of exposure </li></ul><ul><li>No treatment = DEATH </li></ul>
  7. 7. Prevention? <ul><li>Removing of stray pets </li></ul><ul><li>Having pets vaccinated </li></ul><ul><li>Avoiding abnormal wild animals </li></ul><ul><li>- especially raccoons </li></ul>
