  19. 21. BEIJING is also home to… <ul><li>The Yellow River </li></ul><ul><li>The Forbidden City </li></ul><ul><li>Tian’ Anmen Square </li></ul><ul><li>Mao Tse Dung’s Mausoleum </li></ul><ul><li>The famous Peking Duck Restaurant </li></ul>

  46. 58. Xi’an is also home to … <ul><li>The 7000 life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors </li></ul><ul><li>The most exciting archaeological find of the 20 th Century </li></ul>
  47. 59. <ul><li>Discovered in 1974 by a farmer drilling for water </li></ul><ul><li>Manufactured over 2200 years ago to guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang </li></ul>
