Principle Of Investment Principle Of Investment Presentation Transcript

    • What is your life’s investment?
    • “ Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 “ Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7 “ But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6 THE PRINCIPLE OF INVESTMENT
    • The principle of investment says that if you invest or give something, you will receive it back many times over. The Scripture expresses this principle again and again. “ sows” = work; labor; endurance “ Invest” = put in; devote What do you want? Sow it. Invest it!
    • Do you want friends? Invest friendship Do you want love? Invest love. Do you want respect? Invest by respecting others “ A little boy gave a lunch. To him it was giving. To Jesus, it was investment.” Giving and expecting results in Investment
    • Investment is goal-directed, disciplined planning immersed in prayers undying expectation of beneficial result. persevering executions
    • 2 Corinthians 9:7 “ Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give …” It is well-planned and decided; not a spur of the moment When you have decided to give/invest it is no longer out of compulsion or with grudge; not out of accident; no hesitation, but with determination and cheerfulness. That’s why Jesus said, “ I love a cheerful giver.”
      • Giving begins with the realization that “from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.” Romans 11:36
      • In other words, He is the source, the means and the goal of all of life.
    • Investment is goal-directed, disciplined planning persevering executions immersed in prayers undying expectation of beneficial result. God's glory!
    • God invests in you. He invested His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ for us. John 3:16 He deposited His Holy Spirit in us to guarantee our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possessions – to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:14 God invest in us to make known the glorious riches of the mystery, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
    • Glory occurs when you allow Him to work through you to fulfill His purpose; your calling, your eternity destiny, His divine agenda in your life. 5 “P’s of God’s Investment in Us: Position Passion Proficiencies Place Potentials = past & present experiences = what we love to do = talents, gifts = bloom where you are planted = designed for fruitfulness
    • God’s INVESTMENT for you is simply perfect. He wants to show you things that only you can understand by living what you are living, and by being in the place you are now. INVEST “FIRST” F = I = R = S = T = Financial (treasures, money) Intellect (talents, grow in grace & knowledge by studying God’s word, devotional) Relationship (intimacy with God, family, friends, etc) Spirit (feeding the spirit – creativity, inner strength) Time (prayer, availability, physical stamina, health)
    • In spiritual investment Only Winners No Losers! “ God is able to make all grace abound to you so that having all things, at all times, you will have all that you need so you can abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 That covers all areas of life, so do not hesitate to INVEST FIRST SOW THE BEST - REAP THE BEST
