  • Human beings created through Principle. Should live according to Principe. Therefore couldn’t be Princple cause a person to fall. Like train running along a track. Outside force stronger than track can cause to change direwction and leave track. Force of Principle - original mind, conscience
  • Love more important than rules and laws. Heart more important than regulations.
  • God saw possibility of the fall if related to AA. While immature couldn’t govern directly. If kept commandment powerful emotions and desires would not have been stimulated
  • Someitmes people say A&E fell because they were free. But didn’t have to fall. Free will followed by free action. No internal inhibitions or restraints. Want to do and do. Not afraid. Also no restraints such as government preventing one from following impulses. Spontaneous. Can be equate with power. Freedom = free + dom. Dom means doom or law Perfect freedom when free will and free action - love God and do what you will - Augustine Responsibility = ability to respond, make decisions, choices. Bear praise or blame Create good things
  • WHEN EVE about to fall freedom aroused fear and foreboding.
  • Freedom and restoration. Original mind seeks for freedom - freedom to be good, be repsonsibilnsiblee to own Descriptive law - gravity Prescriptive law - ‘do not’
  • 1. Not violate Principle. created God foresaw the possibility of the fall and so to protect and guide his children he gave the commandment with clear explanation of consequences of breaking it. If God had prevented fall he would have been interfering in human responsibility – which would show lack of respect for them. How does a teenager feel is treated as a child? Heart of God – heart of creation, heart of fall, heart of restoration and reconciliation. If the father had not allowed the son to have his inheritance and insisted he stay at home, the father would have kept the son’s body but lost his heart. The son’s heart and mind would be in the city. God gives people the freedom to be responsible, to make mistakes and hopes we will learn from them.
  • Born in midway posiiton
  • Condition for Satan to invade Sin of commission and ommission Nothing wrong in itself See whole picture.
  • DP understanding of OS not same as Christian
  • Feeling loved less inevitable as had wisdom and feelings to sense degree of love Fall not inevitable Became self centred Seeing from own point of view - pornography. Man in factory Comparing, complaining, not grateful, its not fair
  • Acting beyond limits of position or responsibility or authority to fulfil unrighteous desire Pride, I’m too good to do this Easier to see what other person needs to do job
  • Arrogance I can run things better. Taking over other persons job, responsibility Revolution
  • Spreading bad rumours Implicating others in crime Get others involved in crime, bad behaviour Not wantingh to be responsible
  • Make conditions of indemnity
