  • 3. It’s no surprise brands want to get involved
    70% of bloggers talk about brands on their blogs
    78% of consumers trust peer recommendations, only 14% trust adverts
    58% say they’re better known in their industry because of their blog

    social!
  • 6. Only 43% of UK tech brands with Twitter accounts actually engage
  • 7. 66% of Facebook accounts had comments from fans
    But only 25%of brands responded
  • 8. They are still using old ‘push’ methods
  • 9. 60% of UK tech brands only use Facebook to ‘distribute’ content
  • 10. 57% of companies use Twitter as a one-way communications channel
