  • 1. Top 5 Social Media Tips http://www.wikimotive.net
  • 2. http://www.wikimotive.net Does your dealership have a Facebook profile or a fan page? Dealer's must have Fan Pages! Profiles are a VIOLATION of Facebook's TOS (terms of service)! If they catch you, they will delete your profile and you will lose all your fans. You can't market to your friends as well as you can to fans! Wikimotive can do this for you or train you to do it yourself!
  • 3. http://www.wikimotive.net TIP : Dealer Principal's should have profiles and those profiles should be the admin of the dealer fan page. BONUS: Have multiple admin's to ensure survival of your fan page against accidental or purposeful account deletion!
  • 4. http://www.wikimotive.net Does your dealership post specials on your fan page's wall? This is a very common mistake. Facebook users consider this spam and will unlike or hide your posts if you post specials on the page wall. Those posts interrupt their news feed and your fans want things that are interesting in their news feeds, not advertisements. Instead market by DISPLAYING specials on a specials tab on your fan page! Wikimotive can do this for you or train you to do it yourself! TIP : Display monthly specials. If they change frequently, fans have a reason to go back and look for that "next best deal".
  • 5. http://www.wikimotive.net Does your fan page have tens of thousands of fans? Marketing on Facebook is about your "Circle of Influence". The average Facebook user has 130 friends. Every time they "Like" something all their friends see it. So if your page has 100 fans and they all like something, you reach 13,000 people. But they won't all like something every time you post. Which is why you need thousands of fans! 10,000 fans = 1.3 Million people in your circle of influence. Now you will be reaching thousands of people in every post every day! THAT IS BRAND AWARENESS! Wikimotive can get you thousands of fans!
  • 6. http://www.wikimotive.net TIP : Run a marketing campaign for your social presence! Let the world know you are there and incentivize your already existing clients to join up! ……………… . Potential Reach 39000 people ……………… . 1 2 100 ……… . 39,000 ……………… . Potential Reach 39000 people ……………… . 1 2 100 130
  • 7. http://www.wikimotive.net Does your website display your Social presence? Social media icons on your dealers website will let your consumers know that you are interested in engaging with them and that you value their feed back. More importantly, you are training them to be marketed to without realizing that they are receiving a marketing message. This is powerful! But it must be tied together strategically! Wikimotive can help! This is powerful! But it must be tied together strategically! Wikimotive can help!
  • 8. http://www.wikimotive.net TIP : Incorporate your Social Icon's (Info) in all media: Print, TV, Radio, Websites, Newsletters, Mailers, e-mail signatures. BONUS: Incentivize your customers to join these social sites with extra incentive specials and coupons ONLY available to "Fans", "Likes" and "Followers".
  • 9. Does your dealership have a "Social Plan"? http://www.wikimotive.net The Buzz is out there! "Get on Facebook!" "Start Tweeting!" But why? Social Media is not magical. It is just another form of marketing. You must have a plan if you want to make it work for you! Wikimotive can help!
  • 10. http://www.wikimotive.net TIP : Think about a goal in an "opportunity/ solution" scenario: BONUS: Don't know where to start? It's really easy! All you need is a Website, YouTube Channel, Facebook, Twitter and a Blog! With just those items utilized in a good marketing strategy, you can DOMINATE the Social space!
    • Bad Reputation? Start fixing it here. Ask your happy
    • clients to post reviews. Overwhelm the good with the
    • bad.
    • Great reputation? Get that info out there! Have all your
    • customers write reviews evangelizing your dealership.
    • Want incremental business? It takes more than a witty
    • line on a Facebook page! This take real strategy!
