  2. 2. What does it mean to “List” ? <ul><li>1. To entrust the marketing, negotiating, and closing of a real estate transaction to a licensed professional. </li></ul><ul><li>2. Your home will be featured in the MLS, or, Multiple Listing Service </li></ul><ul><li>3. Any hassle of showing your home will be taken care of by your listing agent, or the agent of an interested buyer. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Benefits of Listing with a Realtor: <ul><li>1. The headache-factor is gone. You will be given a play-by-play update and analysis by your agent on a regular basis. </li></ul><ul><li>2. Your agent will advise you on how best to present your home when buyers come to see it. </li></ul><ul><li>3. Your agent will work with you to come to a REASONABLE listing price so your home does not sit on the market month after month with no activity. </li></ul><ul><li>4. Your agent will advise you if and when it becomes necessary to adjust your listing price in order to garnish more interest and offers. </li></ul><ul><li>5.
